In this tutorial we are going to install your Gateway. In order to do this you need an account. If you don’t have an account yet, click here. The Gateway is the basis for your domotic system. With this tutorial we explain step by step how this installation works. In this way, installing will be even easier. Success!
*If you are already logged in, you can proceed directly to step 3.
If you have not created an account yet, you can go to our previous tutorial and do so here. If you have already installed your Gateway you can continue with our next tutorial: adding products.
Note: make sure you install the Internet Gateway from the same network as from where your computer or laptop is connected. The Gateway can not be installed remotely or through 2G/3G/4G.

Step 1: Start page

The first step is to go to the website of BeNext. Go to In the upper right corner you see Login. Click on this button and go to step 2.

Step 2: Log in

Log in to your own account. Fill in your username and password and click on ‘Login’. Proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Register your Gateway

To install your Gateway you have to click on ‘Register your Gateway’. Then go to step 4.

Step 4: Install

In the upper right corner you see the green button ‘Install’. Click on this button and proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Give your Gateway a name

Give your Gateway a name. You will see this name when you are controlling the devices. You can always change the name. Click on ‘Next’ and go to step 6.

Step 6: Move your Gateway

It is likely that you have not yet added rooms to your account at this stage. Click directly on ‘Next’. You can add the rooms later.
If you have already added rooms, you can move the Gateway to one of the rooms. Click on the product, press and hold your mouse button and move the product.
See create a room for more information about rooms. When you are ready, go to step 7.

Step 6: Move your Gateway.

Step 7: Check the product

Check if your product matches the product in the picture. If so, click on ‘Yes’ and proceed to the next step. If not, you are not installing the right product.

Step 8: Follow the instructions

Watch the video and follow the instructions. Make sure you have done everything, then click on ‘Start’. Go to step 9.

Step 9: Your Gateway is being installed

Your Gateway is being installed. Wait until this is done. Then proceed to step 10.

Step 9: Wait until the installing is done.

Step 10: Successful!

Installation Internet Gateway successful! You are almost ready. Go to step 12, the second to last step. If you do not see this screen, you probably have to update your Gateway. See step 11 how this is done.

Step 11: Update firmware

It is possible that you have to update the firmware. In this case click ‘Start’ and wait until you see the screen below. Updating is common, so there is no faulty. You can go to the next step, if the update is successful.

Step 12: Synchronize Gateway

It is necessary to synchronize your Gateway. When your Gateway is not synchronized, the new updates will not work. The Gateway do not ‘know’ the new updates so it can not be used. Synchronizing does not take long. After this you can go to step 13.

Step 13: Successfully synchronized

If you see the green check-mark (next to Logout), then your Gateway is successfully synchronized. From now on your new updates will work.
