In this example we show you how you can add Scenes to your Scene Controller. With one simple click all the lights will go off. Easy and handy!

Step 1: Choose input

Set the input. In this example we choose for the input ‘Sensor’.
When you choose this input, you will set a Rule that responses on changing the Lifestyle. For instance: you change from Home to the Lifestyle Away and the lamp outside will go on.
With this input you set a Rule that responses to a product. For instance: you are not at home, but the MoLiTe Sensor detects movement. The MoLiTe Sensor will send an email with notifications.
This Rule will respond on changing the sunlight. For instance: the lights will dim automatically at sunset.
A response to a change of time. For instance: it is 07.00 o’clock, the curtains will go open automatically.

Step 1: Choose the input ('Sensor').

Choose by ‘Product’ the product you want to use in this Rule. We choose the Scene Controller.
Which button you want to use in this Rule?

Then go to ‘Add output’.

Step 2: Set input.

Step 3: Choose output

Choose what the response has to be. We choose to respond with a Scene.
A product responses. For instance: movement is detected, the lamp will go on.
Activating another Lifestyle. For instance: when you are coming home (movement is detected), the Lifestyle Home will be activated automatically.
A Scene is activated. For instance: you open the door of the living room and the Scene ‘living room’ will be activated. All the lights in the living room will go on.
An email will be send as a response. For instance: you are not at home, but movement has been detected. You will receive an email.

Step 3: Choose output ('Scene').

Does the product have to go on or off?
Do action after:
Choose if you want the reaction directly or with time between.

Ready? Click on ‘Add output’.

Step 4: Add output.

Step 5: Finish

In which Lifestyles do you want this Rule to be active? It can be that you want this Rule to be active in the Lifestyle Home, but not in the Lifestyle Away. Choose that here.
Ready? Click on ‘Save’.

The Rule is added to your account. Here you can see what actually will happen now.

Step 7: Synchronize your Gateway

It it necessary to synchronize your Gateway. When your Gateway is not synchronized, the new updates will not work. The Gateway do not ‘know’ the new updates so it can not be used. Synchronizing does not take long. After this you can go to the next step.

Step 7: Synchronize your Gateway.

Step 8: Synchronized successfully!

If you see the green check-mark (next to Logout), then your Gateway is successfully synchronized. From now on your new updates will work.
